Grasa is Portugese and the translation is Grace!  She is full of grace!  So giving!  She has opened up a world in another language which I don't understand, but I do understand the pictures!  I have a lot of respect for the old ways that people have used for propagation for hundreds of years.  This is why I root a lot of my dormant cuttings horizontal in the warm plain old dirt like the Old Greek told me to do!

She sends me so many links, and I think she should open her own web page:  Lessons From Grasa!  The girl is magic!! Here is what she sent me on grafting, and she said to turn off the sound, but I LOVE the sound.  Don't understand it, but I do love it!!

She should be an instructor!  Very talented that girl!!

Sometimes the best lessons come from those who are learning!  Many years ago, I took oil painting lessons, but had no clue what I was doing.  A fellow classmate, said, "Suz!  You have so much talent!  You should go to an art show and sell."  So, I did.  What a joke that was.  I hid the worst one I ever did...a wave coming up from sand... on the bottom, and it sold first!!  Rolls Eyes. 

Next thing I did was charge friends for painting lessons.  I knew more than they did, right?  Absolutely!  That grew into a huge business!!  Got into many fine art galleries and on the cover of Southwest Art, but, those days are done!  Tired of schleping paintings here and there.  Those now go to family and friends.

FIGS and WINE GRAPES (Chickens) are my interest now!  I love Grasa's enthusiasm and willingness to share!

Great video, I didn't understand a word (I think), but I did understand what they were doing and how to do it.  Get myself some liquid root growth hormone, a utility knife and Saran wrap and air layer a fig tree.  Looks so simple when they explain it.  Thanks Suzi and Grasa for sharing.

Steve, a picture is worth a thousand words.  Who of us knew to look at You Tube videos in different languages!  A lot can be learned there.  Open minds conquer empires!!

It must be Brazilian Portuguese because I took a few classes  (the professor was from Brazil) and I can still understand some of it. Because of the classes I find it easier to understand than the "Português dos Açores" spoken in my hometown.  I really need to practice more!
