I am trying to see if i can use an intex easy set pool as a container for several fig trees planted together.
i can only fill soil up to 12 inches height due to weight issue for my balcony.
will fig trees survive with soil in this height? i will mulch if needed to protect from drying up quickly... the surface underneat is porcelain...

I think the soil needs a good drainage, is it possible to provide it there?
Otherwise, the bottom will be too wet and lacking the oxygen, basically, a mini swamp...

i can provide drainage from the sides.
the pool is 3 meters in diameter.

my 10 gal tub that i used for some of my trees are about 13-14 inches tall. they grow well in them.
