Well at least they admitted their error. Logees has some pretty ineresting edibles for sale. I have been a customer for a long time.  

They received it as a Black Mission, wondered about it, and sent it to me for assessment. I think it is a Celeste, but the fruit did not persist on the small plant last season. Hopefully this season will confirm. They fell victim to the same problem we all have - mislabeled figs. They have now "joined the gotcha club".

I figured there'd be a story -- It's good to hear that they noticed the issue and are seeking to remedy it.  I'd certainly be more likely to do business with an operation that is so transparent about their product.

People use the phrases; could be, should be, may be and unknown to name their figs.

If I ever find a fig I will call it "What if".

Time to spice it up a little.
