They got my Sals EL, I-258 and Black Ischia figs...just a couple days from ripening...little monsters. Well more are coming so I guess I better go get some bird netting. Sigh...

I used Jon's fast and dirty technique of just wrapping te fig with newspaper and stapled it together, but that is only good for a couple figs.

I have a cat but unfortunately no wings on the cat, the birds win.

Sue now you know how I feel about them dad blasted mocking birds. Don't you wish you could wrap you fingers around their little bitty necks and strangle them until they go limp. OK, go for the netting but be sure it's held down to the ground and no seams are open because they will find a way in.
