Mold issue

Cutting head is getting mold, unable to sprout while it is rooting as well.

What is wrong?

Sounds like too much moisture or humidity in its environment.  Try airing the cutting for a few minutes several times a day.

sometimes the mold will just not go away. if that's the case, i just cut off the moldy part. specially if it's terminal bud.

For years I used a 10-20% solution of Clorox and a Q-Tip to dab mold away. It was only a temporary fix as the mold usually came back but was enough to keep it at bay. I switched to a Hydrogen Peroxide solution (1 tablespoon to a cup of water) in a mist/spray bottle. A spritz here and there works just as good and is not as caustic.

You also need to air your tubs out every day or so especially after spritzing. I pop the top and use it as a fan to exchange the air.I don't mist/spray all the cuttings only where I see mold.

Many extras adriatic, so I put some in a bag on top of refrigerator -others in front of my heater vent - heater vent ones get to be aired out at least once a day, whereas I left the ones on top of the refrigerator for 3 days without checking....well today I opened to air out - found the pretty fuzzy on them, soaped and cloroxed, box and all, changed their bedding- and restart. I want to monitor this, but could be my refrigerator is pretty old and may not generate the heat it needs, got a dead car out there, thinking about moving them inside it to see if they get warmer out there than in my house... temp. in Seattle is still chilly.
