After 10 years of adolescence, this fig has reached puberty. It was roll-on-the-floor-and-get-happy good, today. This is Strawberry 04B.

That thing is HUGE Jon. Strawberry zero-four-five "B", right? 10 years??? Holy cow! Sounds like it was worth the wait. Strawberry, like Verte? You got us all curious now. Talk about roll-on-the-floor-and-get-happy good- lol. Perfect 10- LITERATELY

Rafed, I have a dark monster ripening too. All it cost is a visit here, free food, lodging, free laughs and you can have the potted plant. OK, promised -- no ethnic chicken feet food for U. You are always welcome. I have lots of figs ripening now. Most impressive taste to date is Granthams Royal. A bummer that I missed the only Moscatel Branco breba. I was wondering where it went and found it juicely ripe on the ground in a squashed state crawling with bugs. Good news is the tree is quite loaded with main crop figs. Moved it to GH.

Hey Jon, How does this fig rate in comparison to Strawberry Verte and Negronne?

Flavor was a lot like Vista/Violette de Bordeaux/Negronne, but deeper - more intense. Not sure how to explain it.
