Morus rubra L. – Red Mulberry -- Cuttings

Greetings everyone !!! The cold weather is here. Though being as warm loving as my plant friends. I have to admit there are some advantages. I will be taking multiple cuttings of my Mulberry Tree. The fruit of this tree is sweet with just a touch of tart much like a true blackberry. Those of you not familiar with Mulberry fruit. The fruit matures over an extended period of time. If anyone is interested in cuttings for trade or just to grow them feel free to drop me a line. Remember though atm these are unrooted cutting. I will have more rooted cuttings in the spring.

These plants with proper chemical or mechanical root pruning can be trained to remain in a pot. This will not keep it from rooting only size limitations. You will compromise fruit yield due to size. Much like a potted fig.
