Can some one who used mosquito dunk for fungus gnats explain to me how to use it please? I just bought a pack, do I break off a piece and dissolve it in the water I give to my trees? I only have about 8 or 10 cups with cuttings and have been mixing hydrogen porixide with the water in a drinking cup before I water them but I still see a few gnats flying around. Any help is appreciated.

The dunk is designed to float and be a little island for the bacteria to live on. I just leave half a dunk floating in a little watering can that i keep filled so every cup gets treated with every watering.

Do not use hydrogen peroxide in the same water because it will kill the bacteria.

I have used it. Break 1/2 to 1  dunk up as much as possible. I wrapped mine in an old cloth and beat it with a hammer. I dissolved it in
water. Before I knew better I watered my tree from the top. Then I learned that while fighting the gnats, I would only water from the bottom
by pouring the water in a bin and setting the pots in the water to absorb the mixture from the bottom only.
