A Black Mission for me, 10a - leaves.
It is very tall (3 ft) but not with many branches, even with pinching.

Pastilliere - figs.
Not very large, about 1.5 ft, but with many figs still green and 5 already eaten.

Both started around February.

My most vigorous cutting that I rooted was an O'Rourke - it is about 22 inches tall.  I pinched the few (late forming) figs on it

EDIT: I measured tonite, it is 24 in. tall. Was transferred to a #1 pot in late April, rooted in a perlite-MG mix starting in Feb

LSU Gold for me. Just received some cuttings on 08/13/14, planted them directly into one-gallon container with 50% Perlite / 50% potting mix and all of them are already leafing out beautifully.

Viollette de Sollies Crazy growth from a # 5 container 4-5 feet tall from cuttings started in November'13

Chicago Hardy started from cuttings in January, now in 6 gallon bucket.  About 4 ft growth on main stem.  Zone 7a.

Some really cool posts!

That explains why my neighbor says the figs are weeds. :)

I have a handful that I rooted in Feb/March and planted in the ground in May that are now 3-4 ft tall and about as wide as that.  One in particular, Bordossot Blanca, is a very strong grower.

Nice plants and growth, my most vigorous are Latarolla and Violette Soleis.

Union Berry Unknown.

I am proud of my black jack.  1 cutting died and the other took forever to sprout a couple of tiny branches with small leaves then they all blackened and died.
I was sure it was toast but a few day later a couple of green dots appeared and then it started growing and growing ...
Now it has 3 major branches approx. 24" and 2 suckers 6" coming out of the dirt.
It drinks water like a fish and I had to up pot it again today to a 5 gal.

Between colar and col de dama blanc.  I think colar is a bit more but col de dama blanc has grown so much in the hoophouse I don't think it can count the same way.

Zone 7a.  This LSU Tiger is my best grower.  It was just a tiny thing on 7/02

Now 25 inches tall and very robust looking...

Here is my most vigorous. It is an Adriatic JH that I bought as a cutting from our friend Herman/Vasile. It was propagated in long sphagnum moss and a tupperware container in about February and was under florescent lights until May and then hardened off outside. It is in a double 5 gallon SIP(great success with these) and has grown sturdy and about 4+ feet in a couple of months. I have left about 3 figs on it to see what happens, but either way this is a keeper. I will cut up that side shoot for cuttings after he goes dormant. I know this is a well loved plant from all I have read, and at about $7.00 for a cutting, it is a bargain.

My largest grown from cutting varieties were:

Unk. Pearl Harbor (from Hawaii)
Unk. Home Depot (from Beverly Hills)
Armenian
Pastiliere (from Grasa)
Unk. Italian White (from Barbara & Marcos)

the rest are bellow 1.5 feet and smaller)

all started this year (after march) from cuttings of ~6"

Scott, LSU Gold for me, too. Also, Longue d'Aout put on a lot after a late start.

"BRYANT DARK" -unidentified variety.... (sucker)

From 0" to 6 feet tall, May-August 2014.
Also produced main-crop figs...which I pinched off. Healthy vigorous, growth, clean, thick, leaves...and no signs of FMV.  A keeper-workhorse variety....two crops will ripen in Zone-7.

Frank

most my cuttings started Jan 2014 are over 2 feet tall with multi stems.
One started  in September 2013 (supposedly DK) is about 4 ft tall IMG_0292 (2).jpg  IMG_0294 (2).jpg

Of cuttings I started: UCD Excel. Currently about 3.5' with no sign of stopping...hopefully it hardens off soon.

I received this one as rooted cutting, growing like a weed: Bari, about 4' by 4' with lots of pinching and loaded with Main crop figs.

Sorry about photo quality, it was hazy this morning from humidity.

Wow, it is nice to see all the success that everyone is having. The vigorous growth is amazing.

I am in awe of this progress! Two cuttings for me both from a tree Ed (other member) and I Traded on a Chicago hardy-- are now about 4 feet tall or more. They're super sticks lol.

Here are a few terrible photos lol
