I think the raccoons were at my grapes the other night even with one sprinkler set up but two set up seems to do the trick.  The were very effective last year keeping them away too.

I'm pretty sure something big like that got my grapes too!  I left several bunches hanging because they are wine grapes, but got powdery mildew, so even though the wine would have been ruined, the canopy is lush, and I put several newly potted figs under there for the shade.  I'd wake up in the mornings to check and several would be knocked over! 

I figured something big was going after the grapes and just needed the potted figs out of the way.  The figs are fine, and the grapes are done, but you have given me an idea of who the culprit was!!

Sprinklers and wine grapes don't mix well, at or near harvest.
