Okay all the trees are officially out of the greenhouse. Most have breba I have one kadotta that was just overloaded with breba so I removed all but two per branch.  The large trees are on the left with a row of 1 gal pots healed in and a group of 1 gal pots that I have awaiting new homes. The drip irrigation will go in next week and then they are off and running.  The storage of the trees in the garage and started in the greenhouse has given me a 6 week head start. I am already pinching several trees.  Cant wait for august..

Northeastnewbie...I have a three year old kadota in ground.  This is the second year in a row I have had brebas and this year...again...they were inedable.   Have you (or anyonelse) had brebas on you kadota that were any good?

This is the first year for breba on my kadotta Last year it dropped them before they were even marble size. I will see and post results. My trees are in pots and stored inside for the winter then jumpstarted in the greenhouse. My trees in ground are just starting to leaf out.

northeastnewbie, How did you like that greenhouse? I looked at it this winter but didn't buy it. Wasn't sure about the bottom of it or how to anchor it.

The green house was a snap to set up each pole has a stamped identifying number instructions were well written. took two men half a day to set up.  It is anchored with six 36 inch auger anchors and 6 24 inch auger anchors. For a floor I used tar paper right over the grass. It worked real well threw in a propane heater the kind that mounts on top of a tank and it kept the freeze off the plants. for the price it is well worth it. got it on sale at northern tool it is built by shelter logic.

Gorgi  I only hardened them a little moving them around for a few days I will keep an eye out for sunburn. The big trees have been out for two weeks now with no problem I just moved all the 1 gal trees out friday.  I just today put a shade cloth on the greenhouse for some of my other plants that I start in there. It was getting to hot 110 degrees and the fan was not doing anything, need a bigger fan I guess.
