This my first breba of the year and my 1st time trying a VDB breba. Mmmm... Sweet and jammy!

Very nice looking breba. How was it compared to the main crop?

Main crop is juicier and slightly smaller. It's just nice to be eating a fig here and there while waiting for the main crop.

I just checked on my VDB, and there are a few figs that have turned dark, but are not yet ripe. Deuce, what zone are you in?
 I saw a chipmunk outside today, prancing around the figs on my deck. If he eats these before I get them, I will bash his head in with a hammer, I think. Rotten little tree-climbing t*rds!

I am in zone 7, 10 miles from the ocean in Southern NJ.
