my best tasting fig so far

JD, I got mine from Bass last year and I think it was 1 year old at that time.  It grew very fast and this Spring I planted it in the ground.  Now, mine looks like Bass's photo above.  So far it is the best fig I've tasted.  Since my first taste of this fig, I just had to get more trees.  This year I got 10 figs from my tree.  The figs are round like Sal's but much richer and flavorful.  Agree with Bass, it is not watery at all.  It is juicy and will make you smile!  cheers.

Other important thing, RdB tree is much more vigorous than Negronne. Sometimes, Negronne is desperately slow to grow.

Apnoist, I am not Jordi, Jordi (Xon2000) lives in Barcelona and I in Bilbao, near but not the same ;-))

uuuups sorry :)

Hi Bass,
post 22 pictures of negronne.
The very last picture at 5 o'clock is that a bird by tree, it kinda looks like one but not famialr with that species if it is a bird.

Martin, which picture are you talking about?

Your very last picture of plant with leaves on it the very last one.
It has black plastic on ground and netting in backround it looks like .
What appears to me as some sort of bird in that picture around 5 o'clock but in a little toward middle right on the ground it appears the bird if thats a bird.  ; )

He's like a tan or cream color standing in grass.

you confused me when you said the Negronne, actually those are pictures of Ronde de Bordeaux. That's not a bird this is a dried fig leaf...

Sorry Bass i thought it might have been a bird !
Kinda resembles shape.
I guess my eyes are off today a great deal even that picture of plant did not look like ronde cause of the leaves and size of plant.
The ronde you sent you should see now Bass it really grew but its in pot kinda cheating on my part.
Im going to show a picture for you in another thread.
Thanks

Thanks for posting Bass,

But I have to hand it to Vasile/Herman.
99.9% of the time he is on the money in identifying figs with sometimes one pic.

Just did it again.

Great work gentlemen
