Excellent  - brings a smile to my face for you .  ; )

Great Pic of fig...., thanks for sharing .

Very nice, Dennis! You better cover that baby up. I had one ready to pick and something stole it from under my netting!

I would love to walk out and see that on my Maderia someday.

Very nice Dennis please keep us updated.

nice.. fig to build a dream on..

Just be patient. You are going to want some wrinkles.

It's a pretty big fig.  I covered it but it took 2 coffee filters.  Jon, I hope it ripens before Monday!

It looks beautiful--keep us posted on the taste. Is this the first year it's fruited for you?

Will do Ken.  This will be the second year it fruited for me.  BM has a very unique flavor.

I never really believed Jon when he declared this was the one of the best tasting figs, but now I'm a believer. So very good. I've had to put mine in split soda cans to keep them on the tree.

Dennis, what Jon meant is that you have to wait till you get more wrinkles before you can taste the BM.  That means you have to send the ripe fruit to us with some cold packs.  Thanks, buddy!

Well it's been raining about every other day now and many of my figs are trying to ripen.  The problem is when it rains down South.....it pours!  My  BM has more than one trying to ripen.  I hope these guys stop sucking water.

Hello Dennis, Can you cover the top of pot to control how much water it gets from rain? You could use a large trash bag. Only when your expecting rain.
