My Col de dame Gris

Here's my little Col de Dame Gris ready for the warm weather.

Thanks Jon for Making it possible.

Very nice Nelson.

My Col de Dame blanc has 4 leaves now and I see 3 roots in the pot for Noir with bud trying to open. This is my 3rd season
with Blanc & 2nd with Noir. CDD seems to jinx me  -  hopefully persistent pays off.

Thanks Paul, I am currently rooting the other two as well and also tried Bud grafting Col de Dame Blanc to my Strawberry Verte and a wedge graft onto one of my Colasanti's hopefully 1 of the 3 work.

Col de dame Noir is starting to Calus wich makes me happy its a start lol. Black Madeira is my Kryptonite failed 8 attempts thanks again to Jon for making it possible now I have a grafted Black Madeira woohoo.

Nelson, what I have done this season is I bought pruning sealer and I dip the cutting ends into melted pruning wax. May be fun for me to experiment on grafting too.

This is a much more healthier cultivar compared to Col de Dame wht,and grows even here in NJ,and so does Black.

Very nice Nelson.  Mine grew 4 feet last year and produced some nice figs.  I even got a successful air layer out of it.  I plan on planting mine in the ground this weekend.  cheers!

Vasile this one is definately growing well the roots are already outgrowing the 2g Pot as I can pull the plant out of the pot without loosing soil will be going into a 3G pot this week. Only been in the 2G pot for 1 month.

Dennis that is great news, if it keeps growing the way it has been the last month I dont doubt it will reach 4ft easily, and some ripe figs oh boy that would just be a treat. Now if only winter would go a way, I hope it warms up soon as I already have 20+ plants that Broke dormancy.

Nelson, I have a BM for you Im sure...

Great to see the CDDG going and good to hear you have the CDDN.  We need a local source that can make it available.  \

Hey Nas will work hard on getting the other two CDD rooted. Nas dont Need a Black Madeira I have a grafted Black Madeira that I got from Jon last fall but appreciate the offer.

Thank You Noss, It is growing quite nicely I just up potted it this weekend to a 3Gallon pot not its just a matter of summer starting so it can get really happy.
