my cuttings ready to be potted

I thought I would share this years cuttings I started them around April 17th the varieties are Atreano, Maltese Falcon, Stella, White Marseilles, LSU Gold, McCauley St, Purple Jordan red Israel Monstruesue , Danny's Delight, Silician Red, Marseilles VS black , Violette de bordeaux , in all there are 45 cuttings and possibly 3 causalities but I didn't count them out yet , Some of these I bought on ebay and the majority I traded with people on this forum I would like to thank them for making it possible to expand my collection

I also love that your cuttings have taken over more than an entire bathtub, tee, hee.

Those are some nice cuttings you have there. You have a nice collection of trees. Hopefully I can get back into growing figs when I return from over seas.

Gina, I like the soil mix you use for your cuttings I'm going to try that out the next time I do some cuttings as far as the bath tub my wife is understanding "so far"

Thanks. I'd suggest you try it out on some local unknowns first. It works for me in my climate and care, but I'd hate to be responsible for someone trying it and ruining any special cuttings.

 

(For reference, I use half perlite, half 'sterile' potting mix, mixed and moistened till damp, not wet - and not watered till the cuttings are well-rooted.)

very nice looking cuttings. let me guess.. either you are single, have very understanding wife, or have multiple bathroom and this one is not used by females in your house hold?

It's a spare bathroom in our basement I use it to put my lemon and lime tree in for the winter but I may be moving down there soon !!!!

Rueben that looks great I knew they would do well they were freshly cut enjoy them my friend

They were dormant hardwood when I received and started them on 21 April.
