All my pots have drain holes. But some pots the holes are covered up because the water tray is attached.
Some may ask well dont the roots stay wet then down low - im sure they do as when i water i make sure i see water come out over lip of bottom tray.
My largest containers have no tray - did not come with the pot.
Roots have never grown into the rocks.
I told them not too. ; )
