My Discarded Italian Unknown

For the few that may be curious.
Athe time were calling Martins Italian Unknown.
This pictures Maggie sent me and said i could post them for her.
Some notes on this plant.

Friend went to Italy and brought back several pieces of scion from around Bolgna area. For 4 full seasons tree gave me 1 ripe fig only i have blurred picture of it .
I posted i was chopping up tree and several members asked for scion to give it a try and i sent out.
Maggie calls it Emilia Romagna which i like much better than my name insert thats just me it deserves better than Martin part of name.

So time goes by and in another thread it came up she mentions she is getting some ripe figs on it and send me the picture.
We talked some more today about tree and it is doing better for her than it did for me thats for sure and she had tasted some figs and they were good flavor.

Im curious to see what this tree does for her next season as which will be its 3rd.

Jon V. also has scion that i believe is now plant.

Joe in California i have not heard from.

Mike in Austria i think his did not make it or has not gave figs yet im not clear about it.
Here is 2 of Maggies pictures and 2 of my pictures.
You can tell my 2 pictures one is on small plate sitting on wrought iron screen table and my other picture is blurred inside of fig. Hey i was not yet good with camera !
You can see her pictures of this particular tree on her website.

Alessandro acting up will be quick with this email, as we spoke martin today, I wanted to say why I put the Emilia Romagna name as it is the Region of italia that Bologna is in, 10k south will still be Emilia Romagna and to also not get confused with your other " Martins unknown" fig tree, with large fruits as there was 2 Martin Unknown, why I put its birthplace in the name along with Martin ITALIAN  unknown, your name is still with it in my website.  I could have let this particular fruit in picture ripen a more day or so as the other ones at were much darker inside than pic, but yummy fig. I want to hear from others who bought this or I gave away to let me know what your did for you in your own particular environment, Okay, Alessandro mad now, I go for now Ciao Martin,  Thanks for this good tree.

Hi

I do have
Martin“s Italian Unknown (Emilia Romagna) and
Martin“s Large Unknown.
I did not taste fruit yet.

Ah ok Mike i was not sure if the italian one made it for you i know the other did i recall. So thats good news , hopefully you have better luck with it.
I will update my notes.
Thanks

Martin, actually I got 3 plants out of the Italian one.

If someone is interested, I would give away 1 of them.

I would love one.

ok, send me a mail

Martin
I also have two plants of the same "Martin Unknown". This was their second summer after rooting but I did not get any fruit yet. It was probably from your nicely shaped plant pictured with many black ripe fruits on it. It will be tested for two more years in my climate (otherwise I will trade it with you!).

Hi Akram ,
yes in my notes from 0ctober .08  sent el.sals and M.Unknown - the large one not the Italian one.
