why Ice Crystal? Appearance?

i think i have enough figs to enjoy for awhile.. tho, Maltese Beauty would be the one that i'll be looking for soon. can really think of much at this time. i mean, i want to try everything under the sun, but it's a juggle to just keep the ones i have happy.

if there is one fig that i'll take to an island with me, providing that island has limitless source of fresh water to drink and doesn't rain, it would be Paradiso Gene and my VdB Paradise Nursery. they put out good number of figs and taste amazing when ripen just right. but they both don't care too much for rain.

I'm talking about the Ice Crystal of the Ficus Carica type.
Not the one that takes you to the stars and back.

Once the leaves mature I will post it. It is  beautiful plant and one amongs the hardest to get. I am lucky a good fig friend gave me one.
He could have easily got a hundred or two dollars on it if he put it on Ebay.
