Hi Haroon and Kelo
I think I was fortunate here on the south coast that we had an early, practically frost free and sunny Spring which meant that even though they started into growth later because I didn't supply any extra heat, my figs soon caught up and went ahead of last year.
Kelo my brown turkey has a decent number of breba for a pot tree, but they're still green.
Haroon my varieties are white marseilles (lattarula) a cutting from an original in ground tree that I had over 20 years ago, col de dame blanc, noire de caromb, madeleine des deux saisons, pingo de mel (bought as sucre vert, but definitely not), brown turkey, ronde de bordeaux, rouge de bordeaux (pastilliere), petite negri, verte (green ischia), and sultane. That's going to be it as far as varieties go as I've got no more room in the greenhouse, mind you I thought the same before my last autumn buys of sultane and col de dame. Perhaps there's a PhD dissertation in the making there for someone on the compulsion of fignuts to get as many different varieties as possible.
Best of luck to both of you with your own figs this year.
