hi rache
do you have a capri fig that contains the wasp
to pollinate your calimyrna?

Rachie you have some nice starts going on there.

Nice looking trees.  Will you be planting them in ground?

Thank you / i have no capri to pollinate this, m'y question is all male fig tree can pollinate or only mâle Calimyrna fig tree?
I want to plant them in ground When the trees became strongers. Thanks.

Any male fig should be able to work with a Calimyrna fig but IF you do not live in an area with the fig wasp, a specific species that pollinates only edible figs, you will not get figs from your Calimyrna fig plant.

A detailed web site documenting the relationship between figs and fig wasps is here:
http://waynesword.palomar.edu/arbimg10.htm
There is a lot of information here but it should help you understand more about figs, and why you will do better with common figs than the type that requires pollination.

Good luck!

there is no such thing as a male calimyrna fig.
capri figs are the males.
a wasp that lives in the male capri figs will deliver male
pollen to the female calimyrna when the time is right.
if you had capri figs that didnt contain wasps then theoretically
you could hand pollinate with a little trouble.

since you dont have capri figs then your unpollinated small fruits should drop off.
