Here are some more of my young fig collection. I grow most of the trees in the ground and try to interplant with some other plants to provide extra shade during our extreme heat in the summer. So it is like hide and seek game.... can you see what I see :) WP_20141212_12_18_39_Pro.jpg  WP_20141212_12_17_37_Pro.jpg  WP_20141212_12_18_02_Pro.jpg  WP_20141212_12_19_52_Pro.jpg

There are so many more...but I got to go to bed. It is around 2 am :)  I dug up my whole front and back and side yard ... and just planted . I can not stand looking at bare rocks and bare walls and here in AZ they get extremely hot during the summer, so planting bushes, flowers, trees, and anything that I fall in love with :0 ) really helps creating a different microclimate.  It is lots of work to keep everything trimmed thou :) but i would rather do that .

Thanks for sharing such nice pictures, I can see all the work you've done to make such an oasis-beautiful!   I like the way you integrated some of your figs with other plants, looks so naturalized.

Very Nice!

Yeah, I wanted to see some mulberries too. :)

I got some Shangri la (sp.) from you a few months back.  They did well.  Looking forward to fruit.

What is your favorite tasting Mulberry?

This will be my third attempt to post these pictures... I push something and then everything disappers or my pictures come out sideways... I wrote for almost 20 minutes describing my pictures and garden  and then puff... all gone :(   This whole forum posting thing is like an art ... Hope these come out well :)

Thank you again for all your compliments

.IMG_9840.JPG Jujube trees. They are the first ones to go dormant.  I have a few varieties and most of them produce twice a year here. Our favorite this year is Redlands #4
IMG_9841.JPG
Phalsa berries are still ripining in December. They produce constantly and should go dormant sometime in Janurary.  IMG_9843.JPG

IMG_9845.JPG IMG_9847.JPG IMG_9848.JPG IMG_9849.JPGIMG_9850.JPG IMG_9851.JPG IMG_9856.JPG  Mulberry trees in the backyard.  The largest leaf belongs to Pakistan variety, the medium to White Pakistan and the other leaf is Oscar's. Dwarf looking mulberry by the outside bed is Shangri La. This wonderful tree does not grow very tall for me and produces a lot of large juicy berries in the spring and some in the fall. The biggest tree on the back is White Pakistan. It is very fast growing tree that wants to be large and I have to keep up with trimming it.   We really love Mulberries :) so planted a few varieties for longer season and variety of flavors.
IMG_9863.JPG these are two of some of my young pom trees

Sorry does not matter what I tried, some pictures still come out sideways...   I really need to change some kind of setting in my camera.

Thank you for looking at my pictures :)
