I managed to sample an improved Celeste fig today it came from a cutting that I bought on eBay.
It is larger than Celeste but considering it is the first fig on this plant it's hard to tell. The regular Celeste was smaller but sweeter. This improved Celeste had more green color in it. Perhaps it wasn’t ripe enough.

I just had another Improved Celeste. Now I know why they call it improved. I'm ready to give away my Celeste if any one wants it it's ready for pick up.
