My greenhouse project.

Very nice, Art. RigaXL is the one I wanted but was limited in space. So jealous!

The pics look great. Super strong foundation! I might have posted this else where but for a nice greenhouse don't scrimp on the flooring. Walking on gravel is not fun. Moving things around on it is even worse. Plus there's the rock dust. I used big wall blocks which cost the same as pavers but have the advantage of being better heat sinks because they're twice as thick. They are sitting on a thin layer of the old rock flooring. If staring from new I would use a finer leveling gravel. I left the gravel where I wouldn't be walking like under the benches but I find it unnecessary. My preference would be all wall block or pavers. The negative being there will be cutting the blocks on the perimeter vs filling the gap with gravel which is much easier.

Anyways great job! And take more pics. I love them.

I'm building a similar foundation now and since there is dirt on both sides I was wondering if I need to waterproof the blocks with that black tar and whether you leave the blocks hollow to be able to evaporate any moisture in the blocks.  I think I will order gravel to fill in on both sides of the blocks too for drainage.  It look like you have a sandy soil.
John, I think it's similar to solexx.

Jason,  Thanks for the advice. I think I will install my floor similar to yours. The rock on the outside will be easier to install around the electric, water, heating, etc. I will go shopping for the pavers very soon.

I think you'll be much happier with a solid floor. I had gravel floors for a few months and hated it. It was noisy, dusty, and constantly needed leveling from moving pots. Digging a half ton of gravel out after the fact wasn't much fun either!

Great job, Art. I wish I had more back yard space.
