Nelson - you are where i'd like to get to with the plants inground. Certainly last year was a mild winter.
I, to, have the colisanti white with golfball sized fruit right now. I pinched last summer without needing to trim for the most part, and the new wood exploded from the end buds this spring. However, there was one branch I had to trim this early spring and it is about three weeks behind, with the branches coming from the prior nodes only woken up this year.
