I love meeting other fig folks especially if they are local to me. So it was very gracious of him to share his experience with growing figs since he has been growing them for 30 years. He likes to keep it simple, which is a great lesson for most of us. I know I tend to over think things. =)

He gave me a tour of his fig trees and we discussed how he grows them in Seattle. Check out the Video below.

Wow, a quarter pounder! I'm surprised that the Brown Turkey does so well there. I would think that with all the rain and the large open eye that they would be flavorless and often soured and/or get moldy inside.
