Yahoo.  I bought my first fig tree from a master gardener show about a month ago.  Planted, it's almost 3 feet tall.  It had one fig when I bought it.  Now it has about 6 baby figs just starting to grow.  What fun!  Of course, I have the 'want fig tree disease'.  I have a few cuttings and they are doing great too.

Congrats on your new addiction, Susan. Guaranteed to be way more pleasant than heroine.  :)

I started a couple years ago and now have well over a hundred trees and still rooting now. Heaven knows I do not have a big enough yard for all these. My wife still doesn't realize how many others suffer from the same "addiction" as I do. She calls me a nerd from time to time, lol.  Good luck, and like Frank said, it has to be more pleasant then heroin, lol.
