My little Black Maderia cutting has figs!

This is the only 1 of 4 BM cuttings that I obtained this winter that is showing a fig (and it looks like more on the way).

Wow that is incredible.  Looks good I know you are wishing for the rest to have them too.  But might be better for the plant overall not to have them now.  They pretty much know.

Awesome.  Are you going to let them grow or are you going to pluck them off?

As hard as it will be, I'm going to pluck any figs that show up on this years cuttings. I've got over 100 cuttings of several different varieties and I thought it was pretty special that one of my most sought after varities showed a fig first.

I decided to leave one on. Here it is almost ripe. Can't wait to try it!

Eat that 1 fig slowly as possible and savor its taste.
Be careful storing this one in dormancy, dont ask how i know.
