My little fig

This is my unknown Portuguese fig that I received from sue, but when it arrived to me a few months back it was half die from being dried out. The postage company didn't seem to care that she wrote keep cool on the box. I gave it a chance but it started to die at the tips and all growth stopped. Is there any possible chance that it will start growing again?

The plant have had this same growth for a month now and nothing new have come from this yet.

i think there is a chance, the leaves are not drooping down and the stems holding the leaves look to be holding them in upright position.
One important thing i have learned is do not give much water at all as the roots will not be able to uptake and they will rot so be very gentle on the watering just little bit not much .
If you start to see new growth keep in shade then after a while once you see new growth actually growing give it an hour of sun morning or near sunset and increase that period slowly. If after an hour of sun the leaves start to droop put back in total shade and try less the next day, eventually it will get to use to sunlight.
Best Luck

But were would this new growth come from if the tips are all dead

I agree with what Diesler said. I did have similar situations before.
Right now, I do have a one-of-a-kind 1/8" sucker fig specimen (3 leaves),
struggling very similar to your TOP shoot. It is currently in my GH under my ICU/TLC,
and doing fine.

My other (possiple) suggestion (that I did have succces with):
Top-UP the soil to "just" cover the old-wood /new-growth.
This may promote some new more-robust-roots from that younger junction/node...
Good luck.
