My lucky day! Thank you, Jack!

How marvelous is to receive a box, totally unexpected with a note "it is your lucky day..." containing two special varieties of cuttings that I keep loosing to gnats...

My third time trying to root them...

Thank you very much for your generous thought!

Only a fig lover would understand...

Time to buy a lotto ticket!!! Today's your day!

Congrats! Jack is da man!

What a wonderful and thoughtful gift. Since you keep losing these varieties to gnats, have you considered rooting them outside? I have been amazed at how well my cuttings have rooted, buried sideways in pots of plain potting soil. I am at about 75% success rate as of right now, and just had another cutting, (ronde de bordeaux) send up a shoot a few days ago.

Hi Grasa,
I would root them ouside this time - it is the right time of the year for that - You could even bury the pot in the dirt for the plant to have more freshness ...
Good luck !
