Wow that's massive and a big pile of trouble, good thing you got rid of it
You never know that is next!!
Wow.... I broke out in hives just seeing these pictures.
Wow, that is a BIG hornet's nest! I had a hornet about 1 inch long on one of fig trees a couple of weeks. I've not seen any others so I'm hoping that he just got lost....lol. Hopefully you got rid of the problem but take care just the same.
DANG! Glad you made it out safely.
Hi Paully. Now you can enjoy your figs and plums without fear.
WOW!!!!!!!!!! THATS HUGEWhy in the heck did you wait so long to be the size of a basketball? Doesn't matter, well... GOOD JOBJenny
that's a good size one. yeah.. definitely get rid them. got stung by too many wasps.. i take down any hive that i find.
That made my skin crawl. Good job getting rid of it.
Recently, I had one of those just right under the apex-eave of my house.Although they did not harm any of my figs, them (big wasps) were not welcomed there with a killing spay bottle..After knocking down the hive, there is sill a 'mark' up there.
Nature is amazing
