My New Fig Shuffle Assistants

Yikes, they are expensive. I prefer child labor myself! (Well, that is until they become teenagers and then they are no help at all!)

Those are really nice!  I have seen those now and then at Big Lots.  That's sort of a hit and miss kind of thing.  Congratulations!!

Suzi

They are a little pricey but not when you already have a bad back. No children here and besides, those are 15-20 gal pots that are
pretty heavy when wet.

I think hand trucks work better

isn't this easier to use? they are on special right now, 49.00 Click on CLOSE.X

Aaron, I don't know anything about that particular one but I have this one coming tomorrow.

If it will handle the weight and the bottom plate reaches almost to the center of the pot then it will be fine.  If your heaviest pot weighs 60 lbs I'd want one rated over 120 lbs.  If you have to move them over uneven ground you'd want one with larger wheels

nice Mike, I think it's from the same company...yeah you guys with big inventory need this kind of helper.

I just use a cheap ~$30 HD hand-cart/truck (has bigger 2 wheels).

@ Mike they look great.  Anything that saves backs is worth it.

@  Group,
Is there a dolly or other contraption that will help move pots up and down a couple of steps..  I'm fresh out of large strong kids.

i need one of those...

Good ole 2 wheel hand truck works well here grab main trunk tilt back and
and away we go.

Martin, when you bought them they were $30, now they're $60!   :)

Soni, you can get the hand truck with stair glides, which makes the task much easier.

Soni, lots of choices at handtrucks.com

I'm so thankful I have a good back.  My younger brother has had 3 back surgeries and remains in bad shape.

My wife is lifting weights now and when our son moves off to college in a few years she will be in shape to help out. lol

what we need is a handtruck with self propel system, hydraulic lift system and gps navigation system.. and 2 cup holders.

Phil, that is a good one and I can see where the gal would
have been nice also for all your other stuff

Pete, At least two cup holders

@ Aaron4USA...purchased one of those foldable hand trucks(as per your photo)...some of the best money I've ever spent...a real back saver...light weight, portable, and very sturdy.

This guy just showed up to help also. I think between the six dollies and this light weight hand truck I can manage for a while. The nose plate where the
item sits is huge compared to most hand trucks.

lol Rcantor
Ours is not a new fancy one but rather old type hand trcuk and given to me by next door neighbor.
It has ball bearings in the wheel set been painted black and rolls nice
just old school and helps a great deal.

I have the same one and love it!

That one looks really good. But, I've had so many issues with Northern Tool's customer service that I refuse to buy anything from them anymore.
