My new toy for cuttings

This lable maker works very well. Sticks to cutting & even stays on when rooting. I can through different cutting in my rooting tank and when its time to uncover them no problems & lables still look perfect water doesnt make them peal off. Ink still bright

Ah good idea and looks like it would work great! Sometimes the marker wears off when I am rooting this would fix that. Chad

Is the sticker white paper or plastic.
If it is plastic then it will be good for insurance sticker on plant pot side because sticker are so easily lost. I am not sure if birds take them away or squirrels.

That's a cool idea, and would work way better than trying to write on those small cuttings.

Yea guys. Its awsome. They, are plastic. You have to use scizzers to,cut them. Ink stays on perfectly.
I just use them for cuttings for shipping and rooting them. Like i said you can root several different varieties in one bin and not worry about mixing them up.

Richie,

Do not depend on them when the plants are outside, the ink will fade...trust me...been there done that.
Mark

Just use them for rooting and cold storage. Or shipping to others

Good idea, Richie!

20 dollers at Walmart

I would still go for a white acrylic marker. Stays on forever and doesn't fade outside

I've been trying plastic Avery Weatherproof Shipping Labels. I type them up on MS Word and print them on my regular laser printer. I stuck one on my dish washer rack 3 months ago and it has not moved or faded at all. I plan on wrapping my cuttings with them when I root in coir next spring. I cannot comment on fading in sunlight but I'm labeling all of my potted figs with them. We'll see.

ADELMANTO. I like the idea of lables for cuttings. I have a tough time writing on cutting were i can read it. Tips are to big. I rooted a big mux of cuttings in a 20 gallon fish tank with 5 or six inchs of coir put plastic on top and dont have to worry about which cuttings are which. I did lay them diwn neatly. Coir from the pet store work just fine. I can get three bricks fir 8 dollers. I bought the hydroponic stuff before but its expensive
