Panache plant i bought for its beauty of figs not for its hardiness or production but to admire. This plant is my only light color fig as many know i just grow dark types for personal reasons although a member did send light fig scion to me this winter as an extra yes you know who you are  ; ) (please no more) it did not make it and thats fine i dont need to start getting white figs at this point.  If it makes it thru winter garage dormancy with some little protection and gives a few ripe tasty figs in my area that will be a bonus as its been said it takes a long season to ripen properly which we dont have here.
Here is a tiny fig smaller that a pea thats just starting to show its striping to my eyes, i let it grow for a little more to admire then knock it off or leave just this one on plant only. To be noted this plant does have fmv, seems like all the plants that are said to be quite tasty have fmv , it does not bother me that mine do.

Martin, very nice pictures as always. I hope you get to taste it. Mine I got from Willis was heavily infected with FMV along with the Vdb. Once I put it in the ground, and fertilized it regularly, it's growing nicely, but still shows FMV(the Vdb doesn't show it as much).  I'm getting tired of looking at these pretty fig,lol. Haven't a clue when they will ripen here, but will find out this summer. I know it is a long season fig so, I'm impatiently waiting.
