Just a test.
Cecil emailed me the soil sample test results and I blew it up a bit. I just want to attach it here just to see if the photo does come out larger or if it's limited to stay the same.
Forgive me for wasting you time and please reply back with advice for Cecil if you have any.
Thank you.
Lou

Many, many thanks Lou

Cecil, from what I can see it looks like you are in good shape.

Lou fixed it, good work Lou. Cecil how did you get that high of a Ph in East Texas?

Hi J.A.

Yes that is what they say, Luckily we have a very good CO-OP

here in Elkhart, The Fertilizer Dept. told me to bring them the report and they can tell me what if anything I will need to do.

I don't plan on planting anything next year, I will plant what I have now, and what I will be trying to root in the Spring of 011

Hi Cecil, soil test came out great. Thanks for posting. Sounds like your figs are gonna love it!

Thanks Tim,

I sure do hope they like it, I will do as they recommended with the urea starting next Spring, I might even Pee on it(nobody would see me doing it) HAHA.

Please Cecil, if you do pee on it, please watch out for snakes, They can jump High!  I know there are doozies in Texas.  Very interesting test.  Is this just the natural ground in Texas or did you have it treated over years?  Did you have a specific test done for Figs and Fig needs?  I know figs can really grow on very bad soil hence Mediterranean soil, actually, I think figs growing on unfertile soil taste and do better than real good rich soil?  I always assumed the soil in texas was poorer and they would grow well there because of it.  Very Cool Cecil

Hi Maggie,

I will be xtra careful when I do it on the fig plants/trees
them ole snakes would REALLY have to jump high to get me "there"

Did you have a specific test done for Figs and Fig needs?

Yes I did have the test did for Fig needs only!

Mostly around here we have deep sandy soil, I might add, I was kinda surprised at what they said about the soil here!

Also the cost to do the soil test is only $10.00 + shipping

I didn't have it tested for RKN (I assume they can do that too for more money

I think I will bump this thread>   This is when I was xgrndpounder!
