Hello, again!

Also introducing my Unknown Israeli Purple fig from the same source as the Sbayi. Started it last Fall (11 Nov 2011) also. He did manage to get good pics from the parent tree with pics of the fruit (no pulp though). I will not post them unless he PMs me and says it's okay. The fruit closely resembles Ray Givan's photo of a Khurtmani on his web site. We may have a better idea soon. The plants do not appear to have FMV. The grew slowly until April and have taken off since then. I am also allowing them to produce some main crop figs this season. I tried to pick it up to photograph it today but the darn thing had grown fat roots out the drain holes!

Thanks, guys. Your tree looks great, Nelson! Interesting that your plant DID show sign of FMV. Will have to monitor that.

Got permission from my source and author of the pics he took in Israel of the parent tree. Here they are for your consideration...

Thanks Ruben it did show signs not too long ago after leaves we're fully developed wich is kind of strange wondering if it has to do with our heat wave. Ruben yours looks great what kind of soil are using.

Thanks Dom leaves are similar tisn't young Israeli red not that I think they are the same but both cool maybe related?

Nelson,

I use my own blend. Added Osmocote 14-14-14, a little Limestone and Gypsum (for trace minerals) when up-potted and Fertigate monthly with high Nitrogen.

Just thought I would share pic of same plant.
some rodent bit the tip off when it was younger,  so it had a bit of recuperating to do.
It has some very mild fmv which does not show in photo.
