My unknown purple with amber

I think Frank "FMD" mentioned Beall in the video tour of his fig orchard, maybe he can comment.

I had Slavi over and he tasted a fig... his 'ahhhhhh' of pleasure was fun to hear. He said for sure it is not a Brown Turkey, and possible a Osborn Prolific. I looked them up, and my figs look a bit different, since I never tasted a OP,  it is an unknown.

Vince, the tree produced every year, but since the pruning was bad (cuting all year old growth) the production was not good and the tree put out too much vegetative growth... last year I started fixing and had 4 brebas, and a large main crop that I made candy with... this year, so far, more than 30 brebas.. each one is amazingly delicious, worth having. I will have many little trees ready to send out, coming fall.  Regardless of the name, it is a good fig.

Grasa, so happy for you!

I can't be on the list for cuttings this year, and, as you know, I am not in a Seattle climate!  It appears you have a treasure for those in Northern climes!

Enjoy your tree!

OP is another good guess... OP seems to a bit variable with its colors, I have no idea. OP or Beall. Only 1 way to know for sure... ask Herman... :)

Grasa, looks like a tasty one! I am in for a cutting. Thanks!!

Since I can't hop your fence to pick a few, guess I will have to stand in line for cuttings to grow my own ;-) Thanks for sharing Grasa, looks great!

Grasa,
It looks wonderful, if you have cuttings left, I'd like also. Thank you for posting such gorgeous pics!

Me too Please! PM sent! Thanks very generous of you!!

Grasa
Tank for offering cuttings from what sounds like a very hardy fig tree.i would love 1or2 of those cuttings and be willing to pay a fair price.
