Beautiful. Just wait till you taste it. Delicious. Watch out for the birds, they also really like them. I had to put mine inside empty coke cans to keep the birds off.

Fully ripe VDB (Negronne) always look pretty. Yours in the picture also looks very pretty and hopefully tastes as good.

Beautiful Martin!!!!!!  Good work.  Ciao

Five days later here is fig , my daughter and i ate it and both said it was similar to Hardy Chicago but had a little berry type flavor and less sweeter my EL Sals .
But judgement is hard as this was first ever fig this tree gave.
I'm so far happy time will tell further about this as we get more figs from this tree as it matures.
Enjoy

Glad your eating your figs Martin.  The cold knocked most of the ripening fruits off my trees, the others are trying to ripen now, I hope we have some luck, the only one doing really well for me is the Family tree from my home town in italy. I think it doesn't want to disappoint me.  Oh also Martin, there is tiny figs on your E. Romagna unknown you sent to me, I know they won't ripen this year, but we will try next. I will never get rid of that tree even if the fruits arent' well, I love the way it looks and it grew almost 5 feet this year. Sentimental to me as the best amusement park in Italy is in E. Romagna, I loved to go there when back home.  Ciao!

Maggie the fruit is now coming in little by little with a bunch of fruit swelled now and will get good share finally although late for me this year cause of weather as well all have been expereinced.
I hope that tree does something for you, i did mentioned i saved a cutting when i destroyed the parent and it was there so now its growing slowly perhaps 4 years was not enough (sigh )  , i guess i have the time so maybe it will work out i can be patient.
