My yard Pictures

Here are my plants , not in pictures 3 of my plants
two in 30 gallon containers hardy chicago, pastiliere, and in 15g container a mission.

This is small amount of trees compared to many on forum but its already too many for me and sometimes daughter to eat. Rest i give away to neighbors.
So some will eventually go as i get more new dark types to try and eventually keep only the best tasting ones for my palate.

Butch is seen in 1 picture keeping watch for fig thieves to date never had any, the other two not seen but  around.  ; )

Really some great looking plants !

How do you fit all of those plants in your garage?
Oh maybe I shouldn't have brought that up.
Plants look very happy :)

Looks like Butch is doing his job well if you have nothing to report.

I miss our green lawns and the way the cool grass feels underneath your feet, so soft.

very nice, Martin.

Grant

sweet set up!

Very nice Martin, very nice.  Butch isn't looking out for fig thieves, he's looking out for Rafed.  Haha.
"gene"

Thanks for the comments.

Gene your right, he already has his scent . Look at this picture !

Click to enlarge the "Fruit of Looms on fence"

I think I see a trailer in the background of the boxers on the fence photo....better check under that tarp for MIA figs.
Martin...the center photo, the two figs in the largest pots, which one is what variety??  Is the HC on the right?

Hi Sara nothing would live under the boat tarp it gets very hot in there !
The center photo - the round clay coloered pots  starting from left side to right as #1 clay is Sultane next is green monrovia pot containing a earlier air layered Grise Olivette from my parent tree, then right of that clay colored pot is Rouge de Bordeaux.
Hardy Chicago, Mission and Pastiliere is can not be seen in any of those pictures posted.

Thanks for the lineup Martin   :)

Martin,

Really Nice, healthy looking trees.

What size are the clay colored pots?

Jim they fit in garage here shown real snug. I can fit 5 large pots  behind red car , rest of sides and a few go against front wall but not much room cause of other things.
Nick the small clay square ones probably 5 gallons and then the other clay colored range in all  pictures 10, 15, 25, and 30.
The square ones i get rid of this winter i do not like them.

Gene,

I'm not worried about Butch.
I am bringing him a female dog in heat and Butch is going on a date.

Ever heard the saying when the cat's away, the rats will play?

Martin,

I am an outdoorsman. Don't have a problem rubbing a little skunk urine on my clothes to kill my scent.

Rafed well that may or may not work.
Reason being Butch charges the back fence as many folks walk there dog back there growling and barking up a storm .
The neighbor cross the way have 2 female dogs that they tried to bring in yard few years back thinking they would get along but that was not the case.
As for skunk smell well that would probably make him thing your a skunk at best.
There were a few coyotes he has encountered as well about 3 in morning when my yorkie woke me up . They were walking right behind yard fence and all 3 went charging fence the coyotes ignored them completly and kept going.

The yorkie while small just dont like nobody and thinks he is big as a dinosaur.
We Gee  (Luigi)  the other dog would love you to though.
I apoligize Butch is just mean as they come, but you can ask Jusalda about Butch he has seen his teeth behind the closed door of course.   ; )

Martin,

I will contact the Dept. of Research and Development and advice.
Will return with new strategy at a later date.

Rafed i have the solution.

By staying away?

what were we talking about again ?
