I guess spring has sprung. My local National Wholesale Liquidators has Foxfarm products. I purchased a bag of fertilizer from them for about 10 bucks. It's usually a little more expensive online. They also had a ginormous (to me anyway) bale of sp. peat moss. They also has some compost for about 3 bucks. Those last two were not any name brand I recognized. But when I get a chance, I'll go back and get the compost.

My NWL had Bush Doctor® Kangaroots® for $9.99. Saw the same stuff a few weeks ago at a Hydro store in Fairfield for $27. Loaded with Mycorrhizae, for $10 I couldn’t resist.

The Hydro store also had a cloner stuffed with various cuttings. My eyes were drawn to the fig cuttings. The guy said the owner lived in S Jersey and his fig trees suffered major damage from superstorm Sandy. The cloner was continually spraying/misting the cuttings with water constantly running off the ends. He said it was the first time they were trying to root figs. I see failure right around the corner.

I'm going to back and check for kangaroots. Maybe if I stock up now, I won't have to buy anything next year.
We had a hydro store, but I think they closed. The fig cuttings might rot with all of that spraying going on. Yikes!

I've never used kangaroots but for $10 I gave it a try. They also had Fox Farm Grow and Bloom.

My bottle says 2 years from date stamp, mine was Feb 2013
