Need another fig ID

I found this tree last summer and got some cuttings. Here is my first figs from it.
The house was vacant because the owner was in an old folks home. I visited him at the home in the fall. He was mentally a little past his prime, but he sure lit up when I asked him about his fig trees. It was a little difficult communicating with him. It was cool how he remembered his trees, but he couldn't remember where they came from. There were three trees in which two of them were taken over by the woods. The third was in the yard and healthy.
I've asked around about the trees and heard they were in his family for a long time.
He passed away at the beginning of summer.

Anyways back to the figs. They were pretty good. These ones didn't have any berry or melon taste, only figgy.
Anybody have any ideas on what it could be?

Tony, This is the Ialongo unk.

Black Mission type?

I doubt Mission because it survives in ground here in Pa.

Did you get to find out where this gentleman's family came from?

Ruuting,  His son told me but I can't be for sure. I seem to remember Naples, maybe.

He works in the same school district as my wife. I will have her pick his brain this coming school year.

Looks good Art.

I might plant it along the fence on the northwest end of the property.

Whatever it is it looks pretty good
