I am outside of Lockhart TX. I just started collecting last year so my tress are very young. I have Brunswick I started early this spring from cuttings on ebay. (valerie1582 fig tree assorted cuttings). The leaves look true to type with the long "fingers". Cuttings were very easy to root and trees are growing strongly. I have read that it will split in summer rain. That has sure not been a problem in past summers here. The tissue culture tree I have is labeled Magnolia. I got most of my issue culture variety trees last spring and summer. They grow so fast and show no signs of FMV (so far). Several have little figlets in this, their second year. I have Magnolia TC set out in the ground this year after taking a cutting from it. Best tissue culture trees I got were from saladbeardfarm on eBay A collection that included Magnolia. They sent me two Olympian because one was very tiny. It grew well and caught up with the others.
I just ordered more cuttings from apache011-2 on ebay. I messaged him and told him how well his trees from cuttings last year were doing and he thanked me. Trying again for better luck on Tashkent. I have one surviving tree from the two cuttings I rooted last year. I have read it's not terribly vigorous.
