HELLO... SAW YOUR POSTING..
DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT THESE FIGS TASTE LIKE FROM TURKEY???
SARIZEYBEK FIG'S????

Yummy and very fruity/sweet according to my Daughter-in-Law. Aesthetically they are some of the most beautiful figs I have seen. Hard to find cuttings or plants in the US. Its not legal to bring in cuttings or seeds from Turkey unless you have the required permits. I tried to get some cuttings before I realized that E-bay did not limit their offerings to what could be imported legally. Fortunately the sale was cancelled but a year later we got a letter from the USDA reinforcing the point. There are a couple of F4F members growing this variety but I have yet to see any reviews fro them as to production and Taste. They are one of the varieties at the top of my list to grow.

Agreed. Good luck finding one here in the US. Otherwise, it tastes exactly like a visit from the USDA. Better safe than sorry.
