need help

I have found a jelly like substance on my cuttings they are in water to root. I do not know about it,is it good or bad? What should I do?

Personally, (and I do mean personally, since everyone has their own preferred way to root), I would get them out of water, and put them in some damp sphagnum moss, or better yet, moist coco-coir (you can get it at the pet store).  Generally goopy stuff in water is going to be either a) bacteria, or b) algae.  Neither will necessarily hurt your cutting, but it is possible.  There's all kinds of good threads on rooting, just check out the search function.

Another interesting way to root cuttings is to buy a cloning kit.

Clean cuttings with cold water and towl check the bottom for softness if soft cut bottom off just i little bit to get soft peeling bark off. If not soft leave it alone. THIS ONLY HAPPEND BECAUSE YOU DID NOT CHANGE THE WATER EVERYDAY OR EVERY OTHER DAY AT THE LEAST.
