I just received a 1yr. old Panache from Dave Wilson Nursery (via Jon) that came in one of those tall slender pots (4"x4" at the top and 12" deep)...first time I have seen one in action...I think a lot of the professional nursery men use these containers because they take up less space in their facilities, while still giving the root system adaquate space to stretch out.
HERE is what they look like.
Jon, Are those 2 year old trees ?
Supposedly one year. They are nice, and breaking bud as we speak.
