buds are breaking in the garage for sometime now. i would be good time for up pot and root work. been looking at some fig pix.. francisco's pix are always amazing. JD's pix are just gorgeous. there are other great pix that's making me impatient for the new season to get here already. 

need to go pick up 5 gal from chinese place soon. i wonder if soy sauce is good for the figs.. 

I just completed a bunch of 5 gallon SIPs in preparation for up-potting.  I'm just as anxious.  How do you handle the trees that are waking up?   I posted a thread with concern to one that's leafing out but not sure if I can just let it be for another month.

i usually just leave them alone, and give water as needed. i don't want them to dry up. but it's still every little water. i think last time i watered mine was about a month ago. i'll have to aerate the soil and water them again in about a week. i'll do some root work at that time and spray with soap. or alcohol.. depends.
