Hi everyone,

Today, I ordered 4 large Fig trees(24"). I plan on keeping them in pots since I am short in space. Has anyone has had Paradiso, San Peitro, La Gaccia D'Oro, or Black Triana Fig trees? I would like to know what you guys think of these Fig trees, and if anyone has had luck with them in pots? When I did a research, they are supposed to do very well in pots.

Thanks,
Shaun the FigMan

Hi Tom, thanks for your response.  I got them from Joe in figtrees.net as well.  H esounded very nice and helpful. I ordered large ones, I will be getting them the next week. He said I might get figs out of them this year, we'll see about that.

I ordered from Joe last year also. He was very helpful.
I ordered the small quart sized as they tend to grow very quick.

His fig trees are among the healthiest fig trees I have ever purchased!
I should or hope to have a chance to enjoy some fruit out of them this year.

I ordered five or six from him.

I also ordered the medium-sized Paradiso, Black Triana, San Pietro, and Tarantella from Joe LATE in the year.  The Black Triana and San Pietro arrived with figs on them.  It was too late for them to ripen for me, but the trees were gorgeous and were packed like gold bullion.  I am interested to see how they do this year.

Italiangirl47 (Maggie) says that Joe's Paradiso is identical to the one her family has grown for decades...or was it centuries?

Is Joe's San Peitro same as California Brown Turkey?  I ordered  several of Joe's trees last Fall except the Paradiso and San Peitro.  Anybody got any pictures to show?  thanks, Cheers,
