I wonder if Violeta Bayernfeige is the same as Nordland bayernfeige?
I am not sure. I did receive a couple nordland cuttings in the same package listed as nordland. Violeta Bayernfeige has really peaked or should I say got my mind working, and I like it. But I can't really find anything on it.
I wonder if violetta bayern feige is the same as bavarian violet.
Bayernfeige Violetta (Bavarianfig Violetta) is not the same as Nordland. It is a cultivation by the german nursery Plattner located in Bavaria Germany. This is their website: http://www.baumschule-plattner.de/de/bayernfeige.html
Thanks christain the pic looks good, unfortunatly I don't speak much german. But its a good start.
You're welcome Dave! No problem, if you have any questions just ask me and I will translate from German into English.

Garden_wisperer, I just found a video about bayernfeige violetta. You won't understand a word when Anton Platter is talking about planting a fig in ground in Bavaria, Germany for local bavarian tv...but you will be able to see the fruits of the BF!
Mmm a German woman talking about figs! Doesn't get much better. Thanks ;)
