The Negretta plant picture i posted recently was one i had won from a member that had it on ebay.
Currently he has one up for bid along with a Sals Corleone and others.
In past when i wanted to obtain some of these difficult types i went for it as they only come around so often . When i was working i could not enjoy them as much and now being retired i wanted a few that i had in back of mind and now have them
Next year will be exciting watching some beautiful plants grow and bear fruit in my climate along with some nice looking leaves on a few. I also keep working with one sick plant with fmv (ischia black) and hope to hear good news about another ischia black in the lab.
I thought i would have some problems with another Madeira but its pulled through very well and if it makes it thru winter storage it should turn into a fine speciman next season asit put on some growth put on some fig that i picked off except 1 to see what happens especially in this cruddy summer we been having as i have yet to get any ripe figs but im only days away now from a few EL.Sals and getting close to Violette De Bordeau gettng a few ripe.
