Negronne

This was probably the sweetest fig I picked this season. It was smaller than usual but very sweet.

That sure looks good Bass.
Do you have a Violette De Bordeaux along with that Negronne pictured and if so do you find them different. Im curious.

I don't think I have the Violet de Bordeaux anymore. I'm waiting to see te Ronde de Bordeaux, so far it looks different than negronne, I'll be picking a couple figs by tomorrow of that.

Oh great i look forward to see what the Ronde De Bordeaux looks like as i have one from you a vigorous grower  but i doubt the figs will ripen this first year, i have edible landscaping Violette De Bordeaux and will post a picture when it ripens soon.

I wonder, is that one I traded with you?  If so mine arent ripe yet.

Ed,
yes this one came from yours. I only got this one fig so far, but the others are about ripe, I'm waiting for the last days of summer to ripen them.

More Negronne are ripening now. They are definitely good. I found one that split due to heavy rain last week and turned sour, but the others were very sweet.
